Our Story

Hi, I'm Jamiliya—the owner and creator behind Golden Apple Creations! 

Golden Apple Creations started by hand-painting clipboards with my youngest daughter, Journi, to gift to her teachers each year. It became our little tradition, and honestly, some of my favorite memories were made creating those gifts together.

Before long, some of Journi’s friends wanted clipboards too, and we found ourselves making more and more until what started as a hobby turned into a business.

The name Golden Apple Creations holds a special place in my heart. As a former teacher, I was honored to be named the 2022 District Teacher of the Year and receive the prestigious Golden Apple Award. That unforgettable milestone, combined with my passion for creativity and appreciation for educators, inspired the name of this business.

Today, I create personalized gifts for teachers, nurses, schools, businesses, and so many others—with every order made with the same love and care that started it all.

At the end of the day, I’m just a teacher and a mom who loves creating meaningful gifts and hopes they bring a smile to someone’s face.
